Phosphagenics began as an ASX listed investment company, Greenchip Development Capital which listed on the ASX in August 1993. In April 1999 the Company redirected its investment program into the biohealth and plastics industries and changed name to Vital Capital Limited (VIT). Vital Health Sciences Ltd (VHS) was the major biohealth investment of VIT.
In 2004 the shareholders approved an in-specie distribution of the Company’s other investment Petrecycle, the acquisition of the outstanding shares of VHS and a change of name to Phosphagenics Limited. VHS became a 100% subsidiary of Phosphagenics. In July 2004 Phosphagenics listed on the London Stock Exchange’s Alternative Investment Market. In March 2006, an ADR – Level 1 program was established in the U.S. with The Bank of New York Mellon (PPGNY). This listing was upgraded in July 2007 to the International OTCQX.
Today, Phosphagenics is a company fully focused on the pharmaceutical and nutraceutical industries. |
