Harry Rosen (BA, LLB)
President & Chief Executive Officer

Mr Rosen is an Executive Director of Phosphagenics Limited and is a non-practicing lawyer. He is one of the founders of Betatene Ltd and Denehurst Ltd, two formerly ASX listed companies which commercialised significant research and development. Betatene is the world's largest producer of natural beta carotene. After the purchase of Betatene Ltd by Henkel Corporation, Mr Rosen served as Vice President, Corporate Development. As a Vice President of Henkel Corporation, he worked for a number of years in the US in the nutrition and health care industries.

Mr Rosen has consulted to many technology companies assisting them with the commercialisation of new technologies. He has had significant experience in the areas of seed capital raising, stock exchange listings, taxation and corporate law. Mr Rosen graduated from the Australian National University (B.A.- Psychology) in 1970 and Melbourne University (LLB) in 1973.

Dr Esra Ogru (BSc (Hons), PhD)
Executive Vice President - Research & Development 

Dr Ogru is an Executive Director of Phosphagenics and is responsible for the coordination and management of the pre-clinical, clinical and development research in Australia and internationally. She achieves this through leadership of a team of experienced pharmaceutical scientists and chemists and strategic collaborations.

In this role, Dr Ogru has developed commercial opportunities for both the Company’s nutraceutical division and pharmaceutical technologies, such as transdermal drug delivery and drug enhancement platforms for cancer, heart disease and chronic pain management.

Dr Ogru has many years experience in both the academic and commercial aspects of the industry. Prior to joining Phosphagenics in 2001, Dr Ogru carried out significant research on obesity and diabetes. Additionally she has considerable experience in the management and coordination of pre-clinical and clinical development of pharmaceutical products.

Dr Ogru has numerous publications in peer-reviewed journals.

Fred Banti (B.S., M.S.)
Senior Vice President and Chief Business Officer

Mr Banti joined Phosphagenics in 2008 as Senior Vice President and Chief Business Officer working out of its New York office.

He has more than 27 years’ experience as a pharmaceutical executive with strong management credentials in corporate, business and strategy development, portfolio and project management, commercial assessments and R&D. He possesses a thorough understanding of the drug development and commercialisation process.

From 2006 to 2008, he was VP Business Development for Gemin X Inc.; a private Venture backed Oncology Company. Prior to that, he was VP Life Sciences at Wood Mackenzie, VP Corporate Development for Penwest Pharmaceutical, VP Global Business Development for Novartis Oncology and Senior Director, Corporate Licensing and Global Head of Infectious Disease Licensing at Pharmacia (now Pfizer).

These senior appointments followed 18 years in a variety of research and commercial positions within Rhone Poulenc Rorer (now Sanofi Aventis), culminating in his appointment from 1994-1999 as Director, Corporate Worldwide Business Development and Licensing.

Mr. Banti graduated from Fairfield University (B.S., Biology) in 1979 and the University of Pennsylvania (M.S., Organizational Planning) in 1990. He is a non executive Director of Atlantic Healthcare Limited in the UK.

Mr Hodges has considerable experience in overseeing the development and implementation of financial systems for rapidly growing global biotech business operations, including mergers and acquisitions.

Mary McSwiggan 
Investor Relations Manager

Ms McSwiggan joined Phosphagenics’ corporate team in 2007 where she is responsible for investor relations and corporate communications.

Ms McSwiggan has a number of years of experience in the biotech industry covering a variety of roles. Most recently as the Business Operations Manager at Meditech Research Limited, in addition to responsibility for investor relations, she led the integration team that completed the first ever merger of two ASX listed biotechnology companies. Prior to her specialisation in the biotechnology industry she has held various management roles in European based companies.
