GTP-0805 is an anti-cancer agent with anti-proliferative properties and is thought to exert its activity through modulation of pathways involved in the pathogenesis of cancer.

 In in vitro tests, GTP-0805:

• Exhibited significant anti-proliferative properties in cancer cells
• Exerted a synergistic effect with other anti-cancer agents

In-vivo 'proof of concept' pre-clinical studies have shown a strong synergistic activity in inhibiting breast tumour growth when GTP-0805 was combined with leading breast cancer treatment tamoxifen.
